Professor Claudia Pagliari

Dr Pagliari is Director of Global eHealth at the University of Edinburgh, where she leads interdisciplinary research and master''s; programmes in digital health and co-leads the NHS Digital Academy. Her research spans a wide portfolio of topics in digital and data-driven research, healthcare, policy and ethics, including innovations in consumer digital health, big data and AI. In 2019 she was appointed as a World Health Organisation Expert in Digital Health and in 2020 as the chair of a national expert group in Digital Ethics for the Scottish Government. She is co-editor for PLOS (Digital Health) and the Journal of Medical Internet Research (Medical Informatics).
